描述
The RM 011 occupies foundational status in Richard Mille’s catalog as the model that established the brand’s signature design language when it launched in 2007 in collaboration with Brazilian Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa. Its tonneau-shaped skeletonized case, automatic flyback chronograph, and Formula 1-derived details — pushers shaped like brake pedals, a crown resembling a tire on a spoked wheel rim, aerodynamic case lines mirroring a racecar chassis — became the blueprint upon which much of the manufacture’s subsequent identity was built. Produced across titanium, ceramic, Carbon TPT, and various precious metals throughout its lifespan, the 18-karat white gold execution represents one of the more discreet yet precious expressions of the reference.
The tonneau case measures 50 x 42.7mm in 18-karat white gold, brushed and satin-finished with polished bevels, paired with a grade-5 titanium baseplate within and sapphire crystal front and back. The skeletonized dial reveals the automatic Caliber RMAC1 — featuring a flyback chronograph with 60-minute countdown at nine, 12-hour totalizer at three, small seconds at six, and an oversized date at twelve with red surround and annual calendar month indicator. The movement, with its variable-geometry rotor, delivers approximately 50 hours of reserve, completed by a white rubber strap with titanium folding clasp.
*This timepiece is on a light grey rubber strap.
